The works of Erich Kästner were burned by the National Socialists because they considered his writing to be subversive and anti-establishment. Additionally, Kästner was also known for his opposition to the Nazi regime, which further contributed to the decision to burn his works. **

Anarchists can be considered a subset of socialists, as both ideologies share a focus on challenging hierarchical power structures and promoting equality. While some of these dictators may have claimed to be socialists or implemented socialist policies, their actions and policies often deviated from true socialist principles. Many of these dictators were more accurately described as authoritarian or totalitarian, using their power to suppress dissent and maintain control over their respective countries. True socialism emphasizes equality, democracy, and the empowerment of the working class, which were often not upheld by these dictators. Therefore, while they may have adopted some socialist rhetoric or policies, their overall governance did not align with the true principles of socialism. **

While there are different interpretations and approaches within socialism, the common goal is to create a more equitable and inclusive society. **

National Socialists and Socialists or Communists are hostile towards each other because they have fundamentally different ideologies and goals. National Socialists prioritize nationalism, racial purity, and authoritarianism, while Socialists and Communists advocate for internationalism, equality, and the abolition of class distinctions. These opposing beliefs lead to deep-seated animosity and conflict between the two groups. Additionally, historical events such as World War II, where National Socialists targeted and persecuted Socialists and Communists, have further fueled the hostility between them. **
